I think this song is supposed to be about a child who was supposed to have died or was very ill and suddenly was healed, or better, like determined to live. You can apply this song to many situations...

No you still don't get it...I can quote too. "disbelieving what they're seeing." Not many doctors will find it unbelievable that someone has a chronic disease and is dying or incurable. They DO find it incredible though if without any apparent reason someone recovers from a condition thought to be chronic.Spinal meningitis can be fatal. The song is not only about her though. It is about all who recover from physical and emotional states thought to be fatal or permanently damaging.
