Slight-of-hand magician Ricky Jay appears here on Arsenio back in 1988 with an amazing performance. I captured this from my own VHS-recorded copy of the broadcast from back in the day. :)For the higher quality video and audio version, add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL.

Ricky Jay is the man! I use to watch his HBO special religiously, never seen this before! What a shame that we no longer have any proper magic specials on television like we did in the 90s and before (i.e., World's Greatest Magic), instead we're spoon-fed third-rate no-talent TV acts like Criss Angel and David Blaine. Even the new "World Magic Awards" they air are total crap compared to the innovative and amazing specials of decades past. I miss seeing legends like RJ perform. Thanks!

At 2:34, when he says "A fine job he's done", he switches the card in his hand with the top card
