I would have preferred John Edwards over Obama or McCain. He was a conservative democrat, which is very unusual at this day and age.

Now, we know John Edwards was so right about their being two Americas, "Wall Street" and "Main Street" He is also right when he advocates that the government, instead of putting money into the bank accounts of the unshamefull, and unrepentant Wall Street robbers and con men, should set up savings accounts for the average person on "main street'.

I am one of 71,000 homeowners who is losing my house to foreclosure in the Detroit area. I am certainly not wealthy, but I would like to be. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that it is the Democrats platform of over taxation, big government, over regulation to crush the spirits and ability of small entrepreneur's and the common man to succeed. Democrats think we need a holding hand for everything. We just need them to get the hell out of the way. Don't blame the rich. Blame bureaucracy.

No way Mitt --- in any case. The speech Mitt gave when he stepped down from the race was enough to show the deep level of indoctrination and false honesty he has. Republican voters have had a difficult time with candidates this year-- and I think most republicans know their bid for the white house is going to be a difficult race to win. Roves mentality was allowed to go to far and too unchecked--- a country cannot be run on dirty tricks- Roves influence should have been checked.

You gave a good speech Edwards in Iowa the last night, I did not think it angry. Mitt is a spoiled rich kid, but more than that he feel being president is his birthright. The latter being the scariest of all. The United States Presidency is not a birthright, and is not to be bought. Your voice is among the several good voices to be heard which the American people need to hear. |
