These agreements of a culture are also part of a martial art, material structures found in a culture, are also found in a martial art. The reason for striking arts being common in the United States is because the audience are actually fellow attackers, when doing serious grappling, how many armed attackers can be stopped? That goal of the American-Style attack is to cause maiming and killing, look like an accident, while also causing the other person to be listed as recreational-destroyer.

Yes, but remember that in martial arts is one gold mind... "Martial Art don't fight but people fight...". So we can tal about weakness of every martial art but everythind depend on people eho fight...Regards ;)

lol yes we can call it martial arts because it is martial arts, its mixed martial arts. it combines several different styles of martial arts to decrease the weaknesses (disadvantages). which is what bruce lee was aiming for when he created one of the first mixed martial arts style, jeet kun do (sp?). mixed martial arts can come from one main style that teaches different fighting strategies (striking, ground game, etc.) or from the own person's mix of several different styles.

lol yeah UFC isn't a style man. but what they're doing is saying "hey, these are the rules, and if you want to fight under these rules, please come." not like "hey, this is how fighting really is, other ways are not real fighting."

but he isn't exactly the best. i'm pretty sure there are several ppl that can beat him. i'm not saying he's weak, but i'm sure there are people out there that can beat him like anderson silva, rashad evans, and rampage jackson.
