this game was so addictive ... i loved those weapons, the shrink ray, the freeze way were awesome ... nothing like freezing someone in death match, and then pulling out your pistol, firing one shot, and watching them shatter to a million pieces... best game at adding an element of HUMOR to the play i've seen so far ... and those laster trip mines, the pipe bombs, so many great design ideas

I loved Duke's ending quotes and comments to bosses. "i ll rip off your had and shit in ur neck."(yes, he did that in an animation after killing the boss. read a newspaper while doing so imho)Or playing football with the final boss eyeball.

first time i playd this game scared the pants off of me...its funny how a lot of ppl used to hav this game...but no one has a disc or copy of it neymore

This is one of the best-ever games. Even as this game is considered bland by today's first-person shooter standards, this did a whole lot more things than what most other FPS's have done. I've been playing Duke Nukem 3D and Atomic since maybe 1996, and I still play it today using JFDuke3D. During this time, Duke Nukem Forever was never released. Really, a great franchise killed off without anything to really surpass it since DN3D. There's been more ports than proper sequels. Great game, still.
