Watching Anne Meyers is like getting a master-class! I have love Mendelssohn, because of the tiny hesitations and then the catching up again. The interpretation of this piece, especially the free rhythmic style which resulted in a virtuosi display! Anne can certainly elaborate a cadence in an aria :)

love her vibrato--and her strad has a gorgeous tone

her performance is clearly above average with high capabilities including her sense of rythem, her clear notes, and her amazing reaction of emotion

Anne Akiko has more smooth performance than Sarah Chang.

This is played very nicely and ''cleanly'', but what I'm lacking to hear is that when you play it is sort of 'weak', if you understand what I mean. But anyway, It is played very sweetly.

I think she's good but the sound kinda gives me a headache... just in my opinion. |
