I am so glad to see this...SHE, Copperfield, and McBride are the reason I am a sleight of hand artist today. Their artistry...so much inspiration and mystery in it all. I just wish I could do card manipulation that well. LOL.

I'm gonna see her live in a month, can't wait. How the hell does she shoot those cards? Beats me.

He was heavily influenced by Jeff McBride (masks theme, removing "her face", all combined with card manipulations) but she developed her own style, with sensuality, femenine movements and adding Orient spices to the recipe. Jeff played with masks since he was eight and went to the roots and study the deeper meanings of them. She is one of the few women who reached that level in card manipulation. In conclusion, two great masters of magic. Hope more magicians were like them.

i don't think she was inspired by jeff. juliana holds the real and ancient chinese secret of mask changing passed down only to relatives by generation. Jeff was most probably inspired to create his act from those ancient performers. |
